Miss Amie Vanité Kincade is one of Eastern Pennsylvania's most talented Drag Entertainers. Performing everywhere from regular Drag Shows, to Benefit Shows, to Pride Festivals, to Private Parties.. even Children's Parties, as well as many other types of functions.. Amie is willing to go anywhere that she's asked to make an appearance. Amie's primary focus is entertaining her audience and performing songs that tell a story or share a valuable life lesson.
Out of Drag, Amie attended Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, majoring in Theatre, and has been involved in many Theatre Productions in the Reading & Berks County Area since 1996, and has also taken several years of ballet lessons.
In addition to various Titles and Contest Accomplishments, Amie has also been fortunate enough to be the first Drag Entertainer to ever grace the cover of The Rainbow Review, Reading/Berks County and Harrisburg's GLBTQ News and Entertainment Magazine.
As mentioned previously, Amie's stage time has not been limited to performing only at Drag Shows. While attending Kutztown University, Amie was known to put together impromptu shows, compete in dormitory pageants, and was frequently asked by many peers to perform for class projects. In 2008, Amie appeared in "He Sang! She Sang!," a musical fundraiser for one of Reading's local Theatre Companies. She also performed in Berks Ballet Theatre's 2010 Spring Production at The Miller Center in Reading, PA. April of 2010 saw Amie starring in "Bottoms Up," a 1970s Drag-Themed Murder Mystery Cabaret specifically written for her by a local writer and director. "Bottoms Up" ran for several showings at Genesius Theatre in Reading, PA and for one night only at The Nevermore Hotel in New Hope, PA. She made appearance in the cameo role of "Mother Ginger" in Berks Ballet Theatre's Annual Production of The Nutcracker in December 2010 at The Sovereign Performing Arts Center in Reading, PA and performed at The Inn at Reading during Reading Civic Theatre's VIP Gala on January 7, 2011. Amie has been fortunate enough to model for Cie Ess Designs, a hand-made beaded and crystal jewelry maker, and several other freelance photographers; she also had the opportunity to meet and perform with a few celebrities. This year, so far, Amie has entertained audiences at The Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center's "The Stage on Herr," Reading Community Players, Kutztown University, and The Stonewall. Amie also has several other performances scheduled for a few new venues, as well.
More recently, with the opening of CABARET, Amie has now achieved royalty status as the headlining 2011 Queen of CABARET. Not alone in her conquest, Amie is also joined by several others professional performers helping to bring quality entertainment to audiences at Wyomissing, PA's The Inn at Reading, as well as other locations.
When performing, Amie has been known to draw from a plethora of well-known celebrities for her inspiration. Amie's material includes the works of:
Judy Garland
